It was on midsummerseve that Garilicar decided that he had to do something. It was a weird feeling that had been slumbering in him for months, especially while he was singing, but last night it was cleared up. Something or someone had told him the full story of Gandalf, Radagast and Saruman. This voice told him that there were also two other wizards, lost wizards. They went into the east. This person wanted him to look for them, and to find out where they were.

After he got out of bed, Garilicar started to walk in the city where he lived, Fornost. He was trying to find his friends to go with him, bu so far, he wasn't lucky...

Sure, you can join in.

Garilicar met someone, at last. She told him she wanted to join his quest, but under certain conditions. He asked her what her name was, and to tell her about her ideas of going on this long journey.

An inn in this neighbourhood? No,he must be mistaken.Come on Celebithil let's go back.
Maldeloth had been searching for an inn the whole time. This city,Fornost was strange to her.She had never been there and she did not feel at home at all.She was there to deliver a message. When she delivered it she decided to leave the next morning and get the rare rest she needed first. But she couldn't find an inn.She got off her horse and started walking by herself. Of course her true stead followed and she looked in every small street and alley to find something. After an hour of walking she walked through another alley that looked almost the same as the ones she passed by.But at the end of the alley she saw a man talking to a woman. When the two heard the clicking sounds of her horse's feet, they looked her way. Finally ,she thought and she walked up to them.
Greetings strangers!I..but before she could ask her question her curiosity got in her way. There was a tensed atmosphere hanging in the air. These two people were up to something. It wasn't something dark but the elf needed to know what it was.
I erh,was looking for an inn but I am afraid I lost the way. Could you two help me? or did I disturbed something?

(Can I join? <img src="http://www.tolkienonline.com/mb/i/expressions/face-icon-small-smile.gif"border=0> if not just tell me to sod off <img src="http://www.tolkienonline.com/mb/i/expressions/face-icon-small-happy.gif"border=0>)

She was orphaned at a young age and was sent to live in a monastry of Gondor with her godfather who was a human monk. Ráca watched the young man with pointed ears approach - she watched what ensues for a few seconds, then stepped out of the shadows. She must have seemed a forbidding figure - dressed in a heavy black cloak with a scarlet lining, nd her features were totally hidden from wary eyes. She had no idea why she was showing herself - but what she had heard intrigued her... and besides - business was slow here.

Ráca was a Mercenary - a hired assassin. Her skills were famed in the area - though none knew her name. They only knew her as 'Wolf'... the 'legendary' killer of the night, and back-alleys of Fornost.

She laughed as she thought of this... she was indeed as dangerous as the rumours portrayed her, but killing babes in their beds... that was not her work, and NEVER would be. She did what she was hired to do - and only then if she approved it.

Looking up at the figures ahead, she pulled down the deep swathes of cloth that formed the hood of her cloak. Light was thrown upon her features, revealing long raven-black curls, and strange eyes of the same hue. Her feminine features concealed her profession in the most perfect way - she seemed almost harmless, though the tall, slim, muscled torso under her cloak told a different tale. Her various hidden blades remained sheathed - they indeed could be dangerous, but she would take care not to provoke them.

Aaye, strangers - I could not help but... overhear... your conversation, and I wish to tell you now that I wish to aid you - besides, Fornost is boring me...

She flashed a smile, and as she spoke about 'overhearing', she motioned to her ears - they were pointed, betraying the obvious point that she was an Elf.

Ráca frowned slightly at the sobbing figure of the girl. Se failed to see anyone else trying to comfort her, so she had a go herself. In any other situation it would have seemed comical... a hired assassin trying to comfort a sobbing girl... but this was in no way humorous.

Moving up to her, she put a gentle, well-muscled arm around her shoulders, and guided her to a seat away from the others. Opening her leather purse, she removed a wafer of Lembas, and offered it to her silently... Ráca wasn't sure how to comfort...

Now the situation was beginning to get more stranger,Maldeloth thought by herself. And who was that lady? That elf,who was comforting her?
She looked like someone she met in her past but that someone was on her own and would never comfort someone.Maldeloth tried to caught the elfs eye, but the stranger was too busy comforting her.Than Maldeloth snapped out of it.
Alright if we all want to come on that quest,we have to trust eachother. It wouldn't be good for the group if people got hurt emotionally. We probably all have had a difficult past so we have to understand eachother and comfort eachother, like the stranger is doing.

Now,Ráca looked at Maldeloth and than she was sure.It was her! Ráca looked up at Maldeloth, and smiled warmly. Recognition flooded back up at her... Maldeloth - one of the only friends she had managed to maintain over the years that they had known each other. They had journeyed together often, and had saved each other's lives more than once.

They had an understanding, herself and Maldeloth - Maldeloth said nothing about her choice of career, and then neither did Ráca. She smiled again. Maldeloth looked much like she did before they had parted last... hardly anything had changed - apart from the slight shade of knowledge in her eyes... she was wiser.

Mellonamin - I am elated to see you once more. Ráca looked up sharply as Radagast came back with the liquor in his hand. She studied him for a moment, taking everything about him she could fathom, from the clothes he wore, to the look in his eyes.

Satisfied with whatever it was she saw in him, she smiled at him - it was rare for her to smile so often. She paused momentarily, and her lips twitched. Tilting her head to one side, she seemed to be listening for something. Raising an eyebrow, she straightened, and sent a look of 'I'll be right back' at Maldeloth.
With that, she removed her cloak entirely - she wrapped it around the still sobbing girl, revealing the fact that she was wearing very dark clothes in general - they were mainly composed of a black bodice and black trousers... there were not that many 'innocent' people who wore clothes of such a shade. As she turned to leave, her hair swung to one side, revealing a single tattoo on her left shoulder blade - a black-hilted dagger with a curved blade, on the backdrop of a crescent moon, which was the calling card of a Mercenary - or a hired assassin.

She turned and moved silently through the streets her dark eyes alert for any movement, and her ears primed to catch any sound... she heard one. A heavy footfall, a thud, and a curse. She smiled wickedly to herself... she had known they had eavesdroppers. Stepping into the dim light of the alleyway, she came face to face with two darkly-clad figures. She remained cocky, though inside the colour drained from her face.

They were Mages.

Ráca swore softly, and took a step backwards. They failed to notice her unease - they actually seemed to be more nervous of her, as they had seen her tattoo. Realising that she was far to far away to get help, she noted their nervousness, and her own evaporated... she had the advantage, and would make use of it.

Dropping to an offensive position, she drew a blade from a hidden thigh sheath with a dextrous flick of her wrist - a warning in itself to unwary attackers. One unleashed a fireball at her, but she sidestepped it with a phenomenal show of reflexes. Their morale dropped even further, and Ráca took the sdvantage - she feigned an attack on one, but instead let loose a blade to the other with devastating accuracy - he dropped dead with a dagger between his eyes.

Just one left...

Poppy the halfling packed provisions and belongings on her horse, and whispered softly in it's ears to calm it down,, for it was keen on adventures and was getting very jittery and exited.
"Calm down, Clover. calm down."

Garilicar looked down at Poppy, the first to join him awaiting the rest of the company at the gates of the large city.
"I never knew a hobbit would need to pack so many items for a journey." he commented.
Poppy unfastened one of her packs to show a very very large food povision. Cakes, biscuits, bread and cheese, sausages, and heaps of Lemon & Poppy-seed Muffins.

Catnoka was watching the group. She was only there 'cause she had agreed to help Teniko.

Catnoka was a weird sight. She looked of a girl of 14. Instead of having ears like a normal person she had two cat ears on her head. She also had many cat tails. She was now dressed in a black sleevless shirt that went down to the middle of her stomach, under that she wore a white shirt that went to the beginning of her black skirt that went to just above her knees. She wore high-heel like boots that went up to just under her knees. Catnoka also wore two glove like things on her arms that went from below her elbows to her nukles. Catnoka's long blonde hair reached to her knees. Catnoka's eyes were a golden silver color and were full of brightness and mystery.

Catnoka watched them closly waiting for a time to show herself. Maldeloth was relieved to see that Ráca still recognised her.Maldeloth thought she was changed but Ráca obviously didn't think so.
"I am doing fine my friend! so strange to see you here!",she said and than Ráca excused herself for a moment.
Maldeloth started looking at the group, they already had one istari, than there were some hobbits, a girl adriane who was afraid, she could sense it, and of course the leader of the group. She wondered why he wanted to search for the istari.'Did he had a connection with it? Maldeloth started to feel more sure about herself, knowing that a dear old friend came a long.Maldeloth smiled at the group and said,"I see that we are all dying to come with him.So let us indeed pack our things."She smiled at the young hobbit who was packing like a wild one."So our destination is Rivendell, well, I haven't been there for a long time since Lord Elrond left."

She called her horse Celebithil who was still packed. She stroked him on his nose and looked at the man who leaded it all."Do you have a plan, my new friend?"She asked, knowing that he wasn't so well organized. But he nodded and she realized that they would be fine, although they had to look out over the little ones, the hobbits.
When Ráca came back with a knife in her hand Maldeloth wasn't surprised.Though the others were, they didn't dare to ask questions.
Maldeloth smiled and said,"right, are we all ready to go now?"

On the first day of thier journey - the morning that they left and there after, They were in quite high spirits. They sang a few songs as they went, started up by Adriane or Garilicon. Garilicon was sitting in front, with Adriane by his left and POppy by his right.
Catnoka and Rhadaghast sat in the middle, merrily humming along.
Celebithil and Raca rode on thier fine elven horses in the rear, and were often in thier own world, singing and speaking in elven tongue. Soon the riders were silent and listened as the elves sang, thier words drawing imaginary pictures and thier voices adding splashes of colour.
This made Poppy very happy, being a hobbit and fond of everything elven.

The day wore on and they trotted fairly fast in some places, slow in others. they found that they had came to the end of the paved road, and had broken off into a more desolate and rough area - with only a dirt road trodden out through the trees. The trees themselves were tall and beautiful, though sometimes overcrowded in places.
And still the elves sang, never thier merry voices dying or fading for even a minute. they sun drifted west and the day faded into evening. and still the elves sang - and kept the company's spirits up.

Suddenly the singing was stopped by a loud grumbling noise and Garilicon stopped, The whole fellowship grew quiet. "What was that?"
Radaghast asked.
The hobbit looked embarrased and said quietly, "That was my stomach. I'm sorry."
Garilicon laughed merrily and smiled down at the little hobbit sitting on her pony.
"That is fair enough." He smiled. "For we have jogged all day and never thought of stopping for something to eat. So what say we sette down for the night and have some tea?"
The others agreed readily to that.

((I hope this what you wanted more of, RD <img src="http://www.tolkienonline.com/mb/i/expressions/face-icon-small-smile.gif"border=0>))
-pippin's_girl<img src="http://www.tolkienonline.com/mb/i/expressions/face-icon-small-tongue.gif"border=0><img src="http://www.tolkienonline.com/mb/i/expressions/face-icon-small-wink.gif"border=0>
