Hey, <BR><BR>When I started this I really didn't have any fixed plot or really any setting. I just got a image and decided to wright it down. I am open to anything. All that has happened is that Ariem's love was killed by assisins. Ariem is a young girl with silver hair and eyes that can change color with her mood. I'm sorry that this is so shallow but hopefully you can help me with it. As I said, I'm open to anything.<BR><BR>Thank you.<BR>The Management. <img src="http://www.tolkienonline.com/mb/i/expressions/face-icon-small-smile.gif"border=0>

Well, you want to think about what Ariem's reaction is going to be -- does she want to hunt them down and kill them? Does she want to flee across Middle-Earth? And why did assassins kill her love, anyway? Do they want to kill her too? Needless to say, you don't need to share all or any of this with <i>us</i>, but you should have some idea yourself.<BR><BR>I still would like to know when this is taking place; the only immediate thing I need is whether or not it takes place before LotR. I have two character, one who was born about five years before the war, and one who took sail to Aman just after the war. So which one I use depends on when the story's taking place.

I have thought about those things of corse. Assasins killed her love because they knew it would hurt her. Ariem hasn't been in this world very long but she has created more then a few enemeys. That is what the problem is. She dosen't know who to blame. <BR><BR>I think that it should take place after the war. Just because it's a little bit more easy then because it's more lose.<BR><BR>What do you think?

It's really up to you what you want -- it's your thread. My opinion in the matter is that pre-War of the Rings works well for two things: minor events, since it can give a more fleshed out background to a love story or family feud, and to see how characters react to major events. An example of the second would be "Beleriand;" an example of the first might be "Heritage". But post-war stories are good if you want to run an epic level thread, one that changes the face of the world, since obviously things taking place before the war are pretty much set. For example, "The Gathering Storm," or "Elbren's Challenge pt. I".

Hey, will you both write on the real thread? I think it has been pushed back to the second page.(how distressing) Enemys, Lady_Force? Ariem is a known theif and at times an assasin. She is rather good at it if I do say so myself. Her mother was a noblewoman and her father was a mercenary. An odd couple? Oh well, they loved each other and that was all that they cared about. Sadly, her mother died while giving birth to Ariem. Her father raised her as well as a man who gets his living by killing people could. (an other reson why Ariem has alot of enemys.) He was killed in frount of her (An arrow coming out of a dark ally) when she was eight. Not a very happy childhood. What she means by seeing the twilight is that she can see the Passing. The Passing meaning that she can see when a person's sprit pases into the underworld or whatever you call it. Likewise, see can see the spirt of a child before it is born. I don't know if that makes any one upset or creeped out if so, sorry.

PLEASE do not post in a thread simply to keep it on a front page.<BR>If you have nothing of worth to add, then let it stay until you have.<BR>Bumping threads in most forums is frowned upon, in the pony it is a sin.<BR><BR>read your guidelines. etc and when you have established your starting point and plot here, then resume your thread.

I'm going to try a do a long post to move things forward a little to appease the all-powerful moderators (do you guys accept virgin sacrifices, too?) Apparently they're not as patient as they used to be when a thread that shows a lot of promise starts off a little slow. Let me know if I'm not playing Ariem right, HT.

I'm going to join, if that is OK. I am used to having to write long posts <img src="http://www.tolkienonline.com/mb/i/expressions/face-icon-small-happy.gif"border=0> Just one thing though, it is very annoying when there are VERY many things misspelled. If you could, it might be nice to run your post through a spell check before posting. Also, I am away from home at the moment, for maybe a little less than a week, and I will not often be able to come on until I get back. But I will come when I can get to a computer. <BR><BR>Thank you!<BR>

'Lo Hobbit, sorry I didn't see the OCC thread I hope my posts are alright? Eadon Gray, my character, was sent to look for your character. I'm not sure why, we could say that I'm supposed to protect you and guide you to use your power to ease the death and birth of troubled souls. Or that there is some greater purpose for you... Can you see the spirit of Elves when they die also?

I think that we sould all go with you. It would be kind of pointless to have a thread where everyone comes together suddenly, talk a bit and leave.

Sorry, didn't read this before posting, but I thought I'd move the action ahead a little. It's entirely up to you guys what you want to do here -- we can flee or fight, and I have no idea how many there might be. Just figured that if Benoit could find Ariem so quickly, so could others.

Hi! Hope no one minds me joining! I also hope that I have not left everyone too confused with my first post. I have a habit of having conversations with myself <img src="http://www.tolkienonline.com/mb/i/expressions/face-icon-small-smile.gif"border=0> To clear things up, Cai is a man who can talk to wolves. He is the leader of a pack of 15 different wolves,Failin, Cetar, Alagos, Mith, Rhandir, Gilmith, Gwathren, Silith, Kelegteil, Fuinhaitha, Maethor, Luntha, Morn, Brerg and Firen<BR>all with different personalities and physical features. <BR>-Iavasel
