It is 6:33am PST.
I thought everything was Matrim's fault?
Actually Eru we would have the same number of hours of sunshine whether we turn the clocks ahead or behind depending on the season. The day would still be 24 hours long and the sun will shine like it always does. It just might be an hour earlier or an hour later depending on when they stop changing the clocks. Oh and we wouldn't need to gain that hour in the fall if we would stop losing it in the spring. Its the position of the sun that determines the length of sunshine in a day, not the clock. The clock just tells us when it is by the clock.
Yeah I wouldn't miss the inconvenience of having to remember when we are to change the clock.
I notice that TORC didn't change its clock!!! |

6:56 am PST.
I am in, let us blame Mat for all the ills of the world.
*yawn* Morning all, or afternoon or evening.
I have this new monitor and it is like watching a movie in letterbox. The screen is much wider than tall. It is nice to have a new monitor, but it is taking some getting used to.
Tuesday it is, all day long and I got most of my month end completed yesterday.
Vanadarlin', you are up very early today. I know you work early this morning, have a great day my SSOTH. 143

7:25 am PST. You can always change it yourself by making it 7 hours GMT. Or is it 9 hours? I will play with it, until Jon makes the change himself.
Yes, my dear. If you can come on tonight, if you are able. I should have made it today. Even with working six hours straight yesterday I managed 40 posts and I don't have that load today.
Hope you have a great day at work. |

Yep, Wally World. People are just plain nuts. Makes me long for a job in a cubicle where I'm not bothered sometimes. I guess people where I live have no life at all, so their idea of a night or day on the town is come here and shop till you drop. I come home physically and emotionally exhausted.
And Christmas season is coming up. |

9:50 am MST and I should NOT be here . . .
Actually, I think TORC's clock changes automatically when the server's OS re-sets its internal time, but you have to re-set
your
time in
your
Profile because
your
clock has changed too.
I soooo feel for anyone in retail when Christmas starts rolling around. CR is right, people are just plain crazy. That's why what little Christmas shopping I have is done before the end of November. Which reminds me . . .

9:06 am PST. Scribbles, I was doing SO well on my Christmas shopping and then the family has decided to just do one large thing for each person, rather than a bunch of smaller things, like we normally do.
I already have half of mine completed. Fortunately things for my sister I love enough to keep. The others will get their gifts anyway.
Indeed retail at holiday = hell on earth. |

7:12 PM EET here.
I'm trying to get my Christmas shopping done early. The problem is, some things that I'm after don't come into the stores until closer to the holidays, so I'll have to stand the rush and craziness on a day or two. Fortunately, there usually isn't much that I have to get. |

I have an atomic clock that is supposed to automatically set itself everyday at noon and at midnight. I don't think anyone gave it the memo though..
Christmas shopping. I hates it. I am not good at choosing gifts. It's not that I am 'bah-humbug' either.. I just think as our family has gotten older they have gotten pickier they just want cash. I dunno.. there's no fun in it.

Yes, thank God for Amazon. I usually do my Christmas shopping online anymore. 11:45 AM CDT. Yeah, retail is the pits. People think we're there for them to kick around. Bah, humbug. I think that's what made Scrooge what he was. |

9:55 am PST. I do most of my shopping online as well. I love so many of the places that have great ideas FOR me. I don't have to really think.
But this year, I went to Pikes Market in Seattle when we had the mini moot and there was an abundance of EVERYTHING you would want on the planet there and I found some really cool gift items and scooped them up.
I want to go back there again!!! |

11:00, got the rest I've needed for a while now.
Yes, party!
Rose, I hate talking through companies through the phone. It takes forever, you get nothing done, and nobody knows what they're doing or they're in India.
Hm, Christmas shopping online? That sounds like a really good idea actually, it'd be so convenient!
My watch is one of those ones that synchronizes with satellites, it's actually pretty cool, it has a compass, a barometer, and an altimeter. Useful for hiking. |

11:15 am PST *gets on it* Your wish is my command.
Eru, that sounds like a very cool watch, to say the least. I don't even wear a watch any longer. It seems there are clocks everywhere. At home on the telephone, the DVR, the cable box, the computer, the stove and the microwave. In the car, the dash has one. And at work, the computer and phone have them. It seems I am never without time around me.
Rose, how is the call going? |

No watches. No more. Time means very little to me. I waste a great deal of it.
The 'call' went well. As they all do. When I can hear them. Or understand them. The proof is in the puddin'. I'll BELIEVE it is taken care of when I SEE it. I've been through this 3 times this past billing period and each time they have told me 'It has been taken care of.' But this time I got a name, number and extension. And I'll be taking prisoners!
