OOC: Vanished

Pull out your pack and head on down to the Prancing Pony for some great Role Playing (try to stay in character)!

Postby Lord_Tarquin » Sun Sep 28, 2003 5:24 pm

Hello; this is an rp concerning a time in the 4th Age of Middle Earth, when over a thousand people vanish without warning. Noone knows where they are, or how it happened or who is responsible. Lord Elrond and Celeborn dispatch a group of wanderers to find them, and if they are dead, avenge them.

Basically, we need at least 1 villian (maybe 1 or two henchmen) but we ask for a total commitment from this individual.

We also need some people to play the Vanished, and others to play Seekers.

Please give us your character history, and mention which part you'd like to have.

Another thing. Do not rp in here if you have not read the Roleplaying Guidelines, which are posted at the top of the Pony. Please use the best spelling and grammar that you can herein, and try to stay in character (as in, no Valley girl elves. <img src="http://www.tolkienonline.com/mb/i/expressions/face-icon-small-tongue.gif"border=0> ).

Roll Call! Who's interested? <img src="http://www.tolkienonline.com/mb/i/expressions/face-icon-small-happy.gif"border=0>

Villain

Carum Kadoa

Seekers

Lord_Tarquin
Declynn

Vanished Ones

Leslie Elf-Warrior

Edit: Here is the link to the rp:

Vanished RP

Hey, I'd like to join! I've RPd w/ Leslie before, but I'll have to get to know everyone else. <img src="http://www.tolkienonline.com/mb/i/expressions/face-icon-small-smile.gif"border=0> I'll actually have three characters: 1 blind teenage half-elf, and probably one of my various sets of twins. One of the twins will probably be one of the vanished, while the other two characters will be seekers, if that is alright w/ u. <img src="http://www.tolkienonline.com/mb/i/expressions/face-icon-small-smile.gif"border=0> I'll post the bios later. g2g. ttyl

Sure thing. I try not to get involved with too many RPs at one time, because then I can't post with as much substance because I have less time. The one main RP that I am involved with at this time is "Treasure in Moria". The RP has developed so much that it even has a website. lol. The other one that I am involved with is "Where am I?" which I have found to be very disapointing. And finally, the one last RP that I am involved with at this time is "Quest for Justice". I am constantly trying to improve my posting by trying yo get involved with threads that actually have some quality to them, and this one looks VERY promising. I hope you will let me join. <img src="http://www.tolkienonline.com/mb/i/expressions/face-icon-small-smile.gif"border=0>

Hey. I just had a look at the IC thread. It looks like it is well good. Can i join in. I don't know if any of you knew me before. But i was Ruccus, but i wouldn't be surprised if no one knew me.
Does anyone know if Oricon is still around?<img src="http://www.tolkienonline.com/mb/i/expressions/face-icon-small-smile.gif"border=0><img src="http://www.tolkienonline.com/mb/i/expressions/face-icon-small-happy.gif"border=0> She was cool.<img src="http://www.tolkienonline.com/mb/i/expressions/face-icon-small-happy.gif"border=0>
Anyway here is my Bio:

Name:Tetzel

Race:Man

Alliance:Saruman

Weapons:Battle Axe,Throwing Axes and Dark Fire Bow. And sword.

Other:The history is odd. Tetzel is a man, but he made a pact with the Balrog of Moria, that once the Balrog died Tetzel would inherit his soul, or lack of it. The balrog, however never thought he would die and so he gained custardy over Tetzel’s soul for many centuries. This meant that Tetzel could never die until after the Balrog died. Now it has happened Tetzel no longer wants the soul and he is constantly fighting to rid himself of it. Around the time the Ring was destroyed, He had been to see Saruman in a vain attempt and hope that the White Wizard, or so he thought would help him. But instead of aiding the Wizard made Tetzel fight for him. Tetzel survived as he was not bound to Saruman and once he was expelled from Orthanc, Tetzel was able to escape. He now raoms the land trying to reconcile the damage he caused and ultimately free himself from sharing his soul with a Balrog. But he knows this will kill him if he removes the Balrog from him, but he is no longer afraid of Death.

LT, if you demand I have a male character, and the only other male character I have is an Elf-lord, I have to create a unique brand new bio.

In other words: You'll get your bio. Later. Once I am done with History. And you'd better make me villian. BTW- You already make my life miserable <img src="http://www.tolkienonline.com/mb/i/expressions/face-icon-small-tongue.gif"border=0>

That idea I have is she'll remain a bad guy, but this evil male character of yours betrayed her somehow and you want revenge??? (it is merely an idea you could use if you like and you and LT can work out the details of the idea for it, if you want. Also it gives you someone to kill if you so choose after all the male is your character.<img src="http://www.tolkienonline.com/mb/i/expressions/face-icon-small-wink.gif"border=0>)

Anyway welcome all pleasure to meet you all my instructor will soon be peeking over my shoulder, I have to go!<img src="http://www.tolkienonline.com/mb/i/expressions/face-icon-small-happy.gif"border=0>

I like that Leslie. Perhaps Ri wants revenge so badly she decides to help the 'filthy and worthless lightsiders'?

Kill...<img src="http://www.tolkienonline.com/mb/i/expressions/face-icon-small-devil.gif"border=0> Hmm..I think I'll think on that one though. Killing LT's character is one thing, killing my own is another <img src="http://www.tolkienonline.com/mb/i/expressions/face-icon-small-tongue.gif"border=0>

Finally, Carum's bio is complete. Well, almost. I need to expand upon History a bit...but oh well. Here ya go, you slave driver that dares calls himself a Lord <img src="http://www.tolkienonline.com/mb/i/expressions/face-icon-small-tongue.gif"border=0> (Evil nasty lightsider)

Name: Carum Kadoa
Title(s): Assassin of Khand, Desert Lord

Race: Half-Elven, half Mortal
Gender: Male
Age: 28
Eyes: china blue
Hair: sandy blond/brown, neck-length, worn loose
Height: 6'3''
Personality: Antagonistic, cool in manner, impassive,

Clothing:Dark red/or white shirt, black/or tan tunic, black/or tan hooded cloak, loose pants, leather boots, bronze armlet,
Occupation: Assassin
Skills: Master of the sword and bow, skilled in knife throwing, expert with poisons. Knows hand-to-hand combat and fair amount of black magic.
Weapons: Identical long-swords, bow, quiver, an abundant amount of knives and smaller blades, a number of different poisons and potions.

Mount: Ebony three year old stallion of the name Darktouch.

History: Born in Khand, Carum was trained to fight before he could walk. His father was a leader of thieves and assassins that attacked caravans and passing travelers all over the South. When Carum was twelve, he killed his older sister with a poison, ensuring that he would lead when his father died. On his sixteenth birthday, he murdered his mother and his father, making it seem like one of the drunken thieves had done it, therefor, becoming the leader of the clan. He was a bloodthirsty and unmerciful ruler with no commiseration. He gained the title Assassin of Khand when he was nineteen, and later on, Desert Lord, because of the ways he lorded over the southern lands, and killed all that stood in his way. When he wasn’t around, he was called the Bloody Kadoa.

Carum was the scourge of Middle Earth. None from the North dared travel into the desert anymore, save a foolishly brave few who sought to rid Middle Earth of him. Not one of those few were heard of again. Carum learned from the mistakes of the Dark Lords, and never gloated over his victories and triumphs. He had no confidants and never talked to himself. Some thought he was mute, but when the Desert Lord did speak, it was in a quiet, dangerous tone that made even the bravest flinch.

Name: Riencuran Elenath
Title(s): Dark Elf of Mordor

Race: Sindarin Elf
Gender: Female
Age: Undisclosed
Eyes: Bottomless grayish-black color
Hair: Raven black, neck-length
Height: 6'5''
Appearance: Skin tanned from the sun, scar on left cheek,
Personality: Quiet, loyal to her beliefs, calm,
Languages known: Sindarin, Black Tongue,

Clothing: Forest green cloak, black tunic, dark green shirt, loose pants, padded boots
Occupation: Assassin, thief
Skills: Archery, knife throwing, stealing, sword fighting, makes her own poisons, with unique antidotes.
Weapons: Two twin long-swords, a numerous amount of knives,

Mount:
When she first came to Minas Morgul, she had the mare, Ránaraca, that she had had since she was a young Elf, but the black horse died during her time in Morgul. Rána had given birth to a colt three years before, and Riencuran trained the stallion to carry her, and to understand a few words of the Black Tongue. She named the stallion Shadow Blade.

History:
Rien was born in Imladris, to Celebthoron and Naurrís Anor.
Rien's brother though, Luinithil, who was the oldest, loved her. He hated it when she tried to gain her parents love, and they hit her in return, and would try to console his sister. He never spoke to his parents again when he found Rien's face bleeding from being hit by Celebthoron.

Luin spent all his free time with Rien, teaching her how to shoot a bow, how to search for the right healing plants, and how to survive on her own, since his parents would undoubtedly toss her out one day.

Rien tried and tried again to earn her parents love, or her sisters, but to no avail. She was always hit or ridiculed in public. Then the Last Alliance was formed, and her father and her brother joined. Rien suffered at the hands of her mother and sister's for the next eleven years, until the War ended, and she received news of her father and brother. The message said that Luin and Celebthoron were dead.

The shock made the poor Elfess lose her memories of everything except one place, Mordor. She had saddled her mare, Ránaraca, and rode out of Imladris.

After about three weeks of straight riding, she ended up near Mordor, or rather, Minas Morgul. She fell off Ránaraca, and lay there. Some hours later, mercenaries of Minas Morgul found her, and took her to the Moontower.

When Rien woke, she still did not have her memories, and was tricked into thinking she was a servant of the Dark Lord. She got a mark on her right arm, of a crescent moon, and was permanently bound to the Tower of Black Sorcery.

She knew only how to shoot a bow, and use a staff, so Rien was taught how to use swords and knives. Luin had made weapons for fun, and had given her two twin long-swords, promising her that he would teach her and Rien still had those swords with her.

Years later, while she and some other mercenaries were discussing a raid, some of her memories came flooding back. Frantic, she immediately rode back to Rivendell, only to find herself marked a traitor and banished. She tried to gain entrance, but was refused. Her mother wouldn't see her, nor would her sisters. Cursing the Elves of Imladris aloud, she rode back to Minas Morgul. It was after this that Ránaraca died, and Riencuran rode her mare’s offspring, Shadow Blade.

About fifty years later, she tried again, after hearing that her mother and sisters were departing for the Gray Havens, but was banned from there too. She cried and wept to be allowed to at least say good-bye, but still was refused. She cursed her family and all Elves that lived in Rivendell yet again, and went back to Minas Morgul, feeding off her hate of Elves and killing any that were of the House of Elrond that crossed her path. She hires herself out as an assassin and thief, killing because of the hatred that was rooted within her and stealing for the money.
During the Fourth Age, she took part in helping a man called Dhalir take over Middle Earth. He spread a plague in order to help his plans. Riencuran killed him when it seemed like triumph was near, but unfortunately, her plans failed, and she retreated farther into Mordor as Middle Earth recovered from Dhalir’s attempts and her own.

There you go slave driver LT. I'll post as Carum later(Since you have NO permission whatsoever to roleplay as him <img src="http://www.tolkienonline.com/mb/i/expressions/face-icon-small-tongue.gif"border=0> I make you miserable in this RP, not the other way around)

Ri

On the subject of bumping; i swear that i don't do that anymore. lol. I only did that as a realativly young "newbie", and I smack myself every time i go back in one of my old threads and see this *bump* just sitting there all alone. It totally ruins a thread to have to see that in the middle of some great posts, and i promise you that my bumping days are over. In fact, I haven't done it in a long time that I can remember. <img src="http://www.tolkienonline.com/mb/i/expressions/face-icon-small-happy.gif"border=0>

*End Rant* <img src="http://www.tolkienonline.com/mb/i/expressions/face-icon-small-wink.gif"border=0>

Here is one of my character bios. Once I am done writing my first post, i will...er...post. <img src="http://www.tolkienonline.com/mb/i/expressions/face-icon-small-happy.gif"border=0>

Name: Sèvi

Age: 15 years old by human standards.

Gender: Female

Race: Elf

Hair: Dirty blond, cut short

Eyes: Violet, but she is blind so they have an opaque film over them

Skin tone: light tan

Siblings: Has a brother, Terri

Appearance: Her attire is that of an elvish boy. She wears long brown trousers, high worn brown boots, a dark green tunic, leather jerkin, and gray elvish cloak. She has a bow, but since she is blind she actually only has it for looks most of the time. He weapons of choice are two long fine elvish daggers, with pearl handles and set with sapphires in the hilt. She never carries too much money with her, as it attracts thieves. She also carries a long staff made from the wood of a tree from the golden wood. She uses it to find her way on her travels, and as another means of protection. She wears a long green cloak, with a deep hood, so that she can hide her face. When she doesn’t mind people knowing that she is blind, she wears a bandage over her eyes and keeps the hood down sometimes. Most of the time though, she is able to prevent people from knowing that she is blind. Many people find it odd to see her with her hood up indoors, but she doesn’t care.

Personality: She is very bitter about her blindness, and is new to the whole concept, because she has only been blind for about four or five months. She doesn’t like the way most people act when they find out she is blind, and hates being treated as if she needs taking care of. She is very independent, and hates asking for help. She hardly ever lets her emotions show, and keeps her cool when other people panic. She doesn’t really trust anyone, but can be extremely loyal to those who DO earn her trust

Other: Though she has only been blind for a few months, she has found that her senses have become much more sensitive, and that she can hear things that a very large majority of elves cannot. When she fights, she prefers to put her opponents into darkness, as it gives her the upper hand. She is very good at memorizing information quickly, as she has to memorize room layouts and numbers of steps from one place to another, without having to think about it. She is very mature for her age in many ways.

This is one RP that sounds promising in a way, and besides, I have a character I'd like to experiment with. You may/may not know who I am, but I have seen your name around, as well as nearly everyone else's. If a sample of my writing needs to be seen, I'd direct you to the thread in the Green Dragon Inn entitled Never Winter Nights. I hope that I won't end up leaving this RP halfway through, seeing that losing interest in threads where I play too minor a role in seems to be almost unavoidable... <img src="http://www.tolkienonline.com/mb/i/expressions/face-icon-small-blush.gif"border=0>

If you need to know, I have finished the Lord of the Rings, part of the Sil, the Hobbit, as well as having 2 Tolkien encyclopedias sitting on my bookshelf. <img src="http://www.tolkienonline.com/mb/i/expressions/face-icon-small-wink.gif"border=0>

Just wondering, but might I enquire for further information about the Vanished?

This sounds like a promising Rp indeed and I know I've Rped with Tobias before, quite some time ago. Just let me know if you need another member.

~Lady of Ithilien~: We could always use more people, and I believe that I did see your name in an rp. Can't remember the name of it, though. <img src="http://www.tolkienonline.com/mb/i/expressions/face-icon-small-rolleyes.gif"border=0> Would you mind giving me a few names of threads that you've rp'ed in? <img src="http://www.tolkienonline.com/mb/i/expressions/face-icon-small-smile.gif"border=0>

Rien: Of course I enjoy teasing you; I'm your slave driver, remember? Hello! This looks like it might last more'n thirty posts! <img src="http://www.tolkienonline.com/mb/i/expressions/face-icon-small-smile.gif"border=0> May I please join? I've read the Hobbit, the Sil, and all of LOTR. <img src="http://www.tolkienonline.com/mb/i/expressions/face-icon-small-wink.gif"border=0> I've got a werewolf character, Ngwaw, who I'd like to use here if possible (the thread he was in before died out), just let me know if you need something different/don't need any more characters, etc before I go puttin' up a bio. Ngwaw could be a Seeker or one of the Vanished (he's a good guy at heart. He just happens to hail from Mordor...)I can post some links to other RPs I've been in, but the to current ones on this site are "The Followers" and "Where Am I" (the former is just starting out, and the latter is, as ElfMaiden13 said, rather disappointing).

Just a few questions, if I may...

1. What doest the plague do? Is it the thing that gives Carum Kadoa his power over the Vanished? If not, what does give him his power?

2. What exactly are the Seekers, and how do they know they're Seekers?

Sorry if these were already explained and I zoned out whilst reading!

--Aiwe

Hello Aiwe: <img src="http://www.tolkienonline.com/mb/i/expressions/face-icon-small-smile.gif"border=0> It's not a "plague", per se; it's a series of vanishings. The seekers are those people dispatched by Lord Elrond to find the vanished ones, and to ensure that it can never happen again. They know that they are seekers because they have been sent to seek out the vanished ones.

And Carum Kadoa gets his power from pure black magic.

I took a peek at "The Followers". Every thing appears to be in order, so you're in. <img src="http://www.tolkienonline.com/mb/i/expressions/face-icon-small-smile.gif"border=0>

Hmm...we could use any kind of character; with the exception of the main villain. (Watch your step, Rien. <img src="http://www.tolkienonline.com/mb/i/expressions/face-icon-small-tongue.gif"border=0> ) So, you let me know where you want to be. <img src="http://www.tolkienonline.com/mb/i/expressions/face-icon-small-smile.gif"border=0>

Everyone: Let me know the name(s) of your character(s), and their appropriate role(s). If you're on my list, you're set. If not, then give me a holler. <img src="http://www.tolkienonline.com/mb/i/expressions/face-icon-small-smile.gif"border=0>

Sure, two of the RP's I'm doing are "To Reclaim what was lost and Retribution."

I wouldn't mind playing a vanished if that's alright with you and I'll post my bio below, although I'm not sure if I'll use Arartiel in this or not, I'll wait and decide at a later point. Please tell me if it won't work for some reason.

Characters Names: Alcarinquë
Alliance: Good

Number two: Arartiel
Alliance: Evil, very
Aliases: Nightingale, Lady of Mourning, and Isil(moon)
Spouse: Is widely known as the Shadow, as well as Melocar and is a sorcerer who will only reveal his true self to his wife.

The youngest of the twain is known as Alcarinquë,or radient,in the language of her people. The date of her and her twin sisters birth is unknown due to the fact that they were found by travling elvish warriors on their way to join the last alliance agianst Sauron. Realising that they were of elvin descent the elven men were unsure of where to take them, for they knew the land on which they stood would soon become a battle ground. Deciding to take the matter into the hands of their king they brought the twins before the High King and his Herald. It was the herald Lord Elrond that decided the safe course would be to give them to Lady Galadriel. A rider was dispatched and the girls were taken into the protection of the Golden Lady who brought them up and trained their mental prowess. The younger of the twins Alcarinquë was given the name due to her ability to create joy and happiness to those around her, and radient smiles and joyful laughter was heard when she was near. Though for all of that her mind was no where near as able or powerful as her slightly older twin sister who seemed to have an uncanny ability to forsee the future as well as look into the past, any in her company could feel the gaze upon them and as such they tended not to join her as often, though when she was young the older twin, who was given the name Arartiel, "royal fortress," due to her nobal stature and the strength of her being seeming as a fortress into her heart that none could scale or penetrate. Galadriel tried for countless years to break the barrier but her plans and guidence seemed to have miss fired as they only increased Arartiel's firm resolution that none would know the true elfess. So it was as night and day with the twin's disposition, though outwardly they were identical in every way but one.... the slightest difference that was easily overlooked if one wished it to be,(this difference is left until later on )

Years later, after the War was seemingly over and Sauron was destroyed Lord Celeborn and Lord Elrond along with their elves headed back to their respective homes, it was indeed a bittersweet victory as they all agreed and many had decided to return with Elrond to Imladris after resting a bit. The twin's though they had always had a very close bond had seemed to grow apart and it was decided one would leave with the Lord of Imladris, the other would remain with the Golden Lady and Celeborn. It was not hard for the adults to decided which would go where, and it was decided that Alcarinquë would leave for Imladris while Arartiel remained. This upset the twins greatly and many were tears and heartaches were shed and shared at their partings. And though they vowed to remain close and visit often, soon the visits were short and chopped, until the stopped all together, and letters were long gone. This greatly upset Arartiel who knew how to hold grudges (for she knew and remembered her parents murderers, the ones who had turned their backs on them and allowed death to take them.) Soon Arartiel was using her abilities to read the mind of her sister, a trick she had honed in on while she was young and being tutored by the Gold Lady, and though it tired her greatly to do it at a distance she leaned she was able to do a great many things with this power, including putting thoughts and actions into her sisters unwilling mind....her sister had always been weak indeed.

She began to have romantic feelings toward the Lord Celeborn as she grew into a stunning elf maiden and though he looked fondly at her from time to time he could never return feelings like those she had. And in time Galadriel found out and threw her from the land, stating it was for her own well being to grow and find her own way. This fuel ed her anger to the boiling point and she at last allowed her heart to turn to the evil shadows at last. Her sister back at Rivendell felt the change in her sister and grieved, for she had grown up in pure splendor and had been treated and accepted as a daughter of the Lord of the Land, even by his wife, Lady Celebrian.

Arartiel soon found her way to the forests and lived as an nomad for many years, growing stronger each year. After countless years on her own, she stumbled across a aocerer who had fell in love with the strength she displayed, as well as the powers he felt lie inside her, after showering her with vows and proclemations of love and devotion Arartiel bound herself to him in marriage, the socerer never would go by a single name to the outside world, only to his new love would he give his true name. Instead he was widely known as "The Shadow," although other names circulated throughout Middle Earth, none pleasant. Given full reign of her power and permission to use it as she see fit Arartiel became quite a foe to be reconed with. She in turn relinquished her elven name for one more befitting her station, the Lady of Mourning many called her, for she destroyed lovers and families alike, caring nothing for anyone. Her sister desperate to be reuunited with her twin in hopes that she could end the suffering and bring them together in peace and light again left Imladris strictly against the will of Lord Elrond, he was greatly concerned with the outcome of such a union..... it is here that Alcarinquë meets the wanderers and begins her journey.

Looks of them both: Tall and slender, creamy pale skin, though the older twin's skin is by far paler, now that she spends her days out of the sun and light loving only the darkness that surrounds her. They both have Rich deep auburn hair hinting at a Teleri decent on either parent's side. They both have bright green eyes and each carries a ring that is fasioned from mithril and carries on it a bright purple stone, the meaning of these rings are not as of yet known.

Kewl! Here's Ngwaw's bio from Tale of an Orc (hope y'don't mind a copy-and-paste <img src="http://www.tolkienonline.com/mb/i/expressions/face-icon-small-smile.gif"border=0> ) Plus stuff added/removed rto fit this story:

Name: Ngwaw. Sometimes uses the name Celeb amongst strangers.

Gender: Male

Race: Werewolf (Undead, but still suceptible to the "Plague". Can change into wolf form any time, but must change at night during the week around the full moon no matter what. Can also "half-change", existing with clawed hands, a tail, a wolvish face, and fur all over, able to stand upright on legs shaped like a wolf's hindlegs. Has strong aversions to silver and garlic. If "killed" by a non-silver weapon he eventually recovers, but suffers immense pain. Garlic blinds his eyes and nose for several hours).

Age: 18 (in human terms)

Alliance: Himself, hates Sauron/Mordor

Appearance: As a man: tall and lanky, long back hair streaked with silver tied back at the nape of his neck, a thin goatee, yellow-gold eyes, and an unusually sharp smile. Dresses in a loose black tunic and breeches and a longish rope belt (which is handy for tying everything in a bundle for carrying it his mouth as a wolf). Walks barefoot. As a wolf: yellow eyes, black fur with a frost of silver on his back, shoulders, and head.

Weapons: Carries none. He left the violence of Mordor behind when he fled, but in a corner he has sharp claws (talons when half-changed) and teeth.

Skills: Unmatched senses of smell and hearing, even when in human form, but best in wolf form. Sight is best when he is in human form. Can communicate with dogs and regular wolves. Good at sneaking around and avoiding trouble. Speaks fluent Black Speech and Common Speech (but with a noticeable Mordor accent in the latter language, which often gets him in trouble). Has a tourist-level understanding of Elvish (which is to say, not much).

Status: Recently escaped from Mordor, Ngwaw is wandering across Middle-earth, trying to keep as much distance as possible between himself and Mordor, while looking for a place to settle in where he won't be regarded as a freak.

Bio: Was born in the wolfpacks ranging throughout southern Mordor. When he was younger he saw his family "harvested" by orcs--his two older brothers and his eldest sister were deemed fit and strong enough to join the ranks of Sauron's dread army, while his puppy sister (a runt, always sickly) was culled before his eyes and made into a pair of fur boots. This is how he got his name ("Howl" ), by keeping the pack up at night with his cries for his dead baby sister. He was strong, but still too young at the time to be chosen. His parents (retired from the army and now left to roam the blasted plains and raise the next generation of werewolves) brought him up to believe that he must work to be as strong as he could so that one day he might have the highest honor for a werewolf: joining Sauron's hordes. And when he was little he belived it. But when he saw his sister killed just for her size and sickliness, he decided that he would never be anyone's dog and fled Mordor, sneaking past the guard posts during the daytime and then spending months navigating Ephel Duath, eventually reaching the Anduin south of Minas Tirith, the starting point of his four years' wandering in the Free Lands. During his long wandering he questioned all of his beliefs, eventually deciding that he hated Sauron and Mordor and all the violence and bloodshed, and vowing never to set foot or paw within its borders ever again.

Right now, Ngwaw is in Bree. Would you like him to be Seeker or Vanished? His skill (tracking) make him seem like he might make a good Seeker, but I don't think Elrond's the kind of guy to hire a werewolf. He could get the plague, but because he's undead, perhaps the plague doesn't affect him in the normal way, and he goes finally to the elves in desperation (and that's how he meets up with Elrond and later Tarquin)? Lemme Know.

--Aiwe

Ummmm looking over the posts I think I should clarify the plague and the vanished parts for everyone.

The "Plague" happened a year before this RP it is the RP called the Plague of middle Earth. There is no plague in this RP. As LT has stated this RP is about people coming up missing and being brainwashed into thinking their original lives are illusions or dreams. By a supposed "madman" (But Rien says he isn't a madman...LOL<img src="http://www.tolkienonline.com/mb/i/expressions/face-icon-small-tongue.gif"border=0><img src="http://www.tolkienonline.com/mb/i/expressions/face-icon-small-wink.gif"border=0>)

Anyway I thought I'd clear that up for everyone...

NO PLAGUE in the RP Vanished.<img src="http://www.tolkienonline.com/mb/i/expressions/face-icon-small-happy.gif"border=0>

EDITED:

There still might be perminately infected men, but most are dead. Declynn whom will play one of the seekers does carry the plague, but it is not spreadable through her, it is apart of her or is still becoming a part of her. She has some special skills with the plague but as fair as the plague goes she might be the closest thing with the plague in this RP...<img src="http://www.tolkienonline.com/mb/i/expressions/face-icon-small-wink.gif"border=0>

I'll play henchman, that is, if the player of the villain is willing to have a teenager as her henchman...

But you might have to wait a while for any bios to come up, what with finals starting this friday. But rest assured,I give you a bio by say, this sunday?

After all, it won't make sense for me to use the characters I usually play (assassins) as seekers...

In that case, taking it as that Rien(if I may call you that?) accepts me as her henchman, might I query further as to my role in the story?

LT: You're making me blush. But praise is always welcome, so do keep it coming. <img src="http://www.tolkienonline.com/mb/i/expressions/face-icon-small-happy.gif"border=0>

Lady_of_Ithilien: I think I do recognize your name... Pretty well, in fact. <img src="http://www.tolkienonline.com/mb/i/expressions/face-icon-small-wink.gif"border=0>
