you'll see that others are having the problem, and that it has to do more with how long the reply box is open than it does anything else. . . . or so we think.

I know I have conversed with Jon about my log in problem but it still is on going. I get "General error" when I try to log on with my usual username of Vanaladiel. I continue to try every time I log in but to no avail.
I have been forced to use this id instead till we can straighten this out. I have cleared my cookies, my cache and temp files. It did not help at all. I dont know what else to try.
If anyone has any suggestions, I am open to them?

I like the idea of a time explanation at the bottom of a page.
But, in my case, it is wrong.
Pacific Standard Time is 8 hours behind Greenwich Mean Time. The time indicator said it was 1:11 PM, GMT -7. In fact it should have said, at that time, 12:11 PM and GMT -8.
No big deal. I just thought I would mention it.

Yes mine is off as well!! I have tried to fix it but it doesnt change unless it goes to military time and then it is still off.  Oh well!! I got clocks so it doesnt make it urgent.

A 'search' fuction that I've used with regularity before, clicking on the profile botton of a poster, then using the 'view all post by...' button, no longer works for me. 
I've tried it on various posters (including myself) and after a long wait IE directs me to an error page. A few times when I have used the previous page button another screen appears with something about a 'debug mode' but it never stays long enought for me to copy and paste it so that I might show you.
Is the problem on my end or is it board wide? I loved this function and used it many times while working on the Prancing Pony Library thread.

This is a problem that has been going on for a while. Jon managed to fix it once but it appears to be broken again. He's looking into it -- I can't tell you when it'll be fixed, but it is being examined.

Thanks for the prompt reply luthienelflover.
I remember reading somewhere (couldn't find which thread) where someone reported trouble with that function, but it still worked for me at that time.
Jon, hope you can work out the bug. I plan to more work on the 'library' project during the summer. Thanks in advance.
