Hear ye! Hear ye!

As a special Christmas present to the Lounge, I hereby repeal the Gruel Act 2010, and replace it with the Pastry Act 2010. Everyone now has to eat at least 1 pastry per visit. 'Pastry' shall, within the terms of the Act, describe any doughnuts, cakes, biscuits, shortbread, éclairs or any type of chou, puff or shortcrust pastry product having any filling or topping of a sweet nature. Savoury fillings shall be accepted only at the discretion of the Lounge's founding members or by majority vote of the posters in any given scenario, although Toby's vote shall not count under any circumstances. :P

Merry Christmas!

Heck, if it's got a significant amount of sugar in it, I think it should count!

Ooooooh, yum! That sounds excellent! I may have to go to Panera for breakfast tomorrow! *Checks gift card supply* :P

So I got one of those electric, heated blankets for Christmas. It's basically amazing, and I've been wrapped in it ever since I got back to my apartment. *Snuggles* I do believe the Lounge needs a supply of these. And also some Chex Mix.

All right, 5 shots of espresso for Alex, and something with caffeine for Tooks--what form would you like that in, Tooks? Coffee smoothie, perhaps?

Also, Alex! Long time, no see! (Or maybe I just post in the wrong threads?) What've you been up to?

5 shots! Oy! *Makes Alex his shots and then ducks behind the counter, pretending to gather smoothie ingredients for ArwenCat's smoothie, until it's all over*

Rose-- Italian pastry shops, oooooh yes. And you're in luck--all of our pastries here are from TORC's best Italian pastry shop, and it's right down the street from us so they're always fresh!

Goodness, I have been gone a while due to work and some issues I had to get through. Now we had the wedding this weekend for my beloved's sister.

It seem though I have missed out on a lot. Please forgive me for being gone so long folks and for being out of the loop. I am back as much as I can be with work and all. I promise to check in each evening now.

Welcome ArwenElrondiel!!!

 Rose, that sounds wonderful right about now! ....at 1 am. Hmm. :P

I had a bostock at a local deli this evening: "We take a slice of our independently awesome brioche, brush it with orange flavored simple syrup, spread it with almond frangipane, sprinkle it with toasted almonds and bake it" says the website. It was amaaaazzziingg. Also, half off, which made it even more amazing. :D

Okay, it's late and Photoshop has won this evening's round (blasted layers) of "Can Sil ever learn digital art?" Tune in next week for the next exciting installment!
